Beatles의 'Come Together' 1969년 발표한 11번째 앨범 [Abbey Road]에 수록된 곡으로, 이 앨범은 Beatles의 가장 많이 판매된 앨범이다.

빌보드 앨범챠트와 영국 앨범챠트 모두 정상을 차지하였다.
John Lennon이 작곡한 이 곡은 'Something'과 함께 싱글로 발매되어(영국에서 21번째, 미국에서 26번째로 발매된 싱글) 빌보드 싱글챠트 1위, 영국 싱글챠트 4위에 올랐다.

캘리포니아 주지자 선거때 Timothy Leary의 선거 캠페인송으로 만들어진 곡으로, 당시 상대 후보는 Ronald Reagan 이였다.  
 Rolling Stone 誌 선정 "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" 202위에 올랐고,"List of the Beatles' 100 Greatest Songs" 9위에 선정되기도 하였다.
   Beatles의 빌보드 챠트 18번째 1위곡으로 이는 Elvis Presley의 17번의 기록을 능가하는 기록이다.
