1980년 9월 하순. 새로운 앨범은 실질적으로 완성되었고 한 달 안에 발매될 예정이었다.

그러나 Bjorn과 Benny는 정말로 큰 히트를 칠 수 있는 한 곡을 더 원했고,

그 곡을 만들기에 몰두했다. 새 앨범의 타이틀은 이미 [Super Trouper]로 결정되었으며,

그들은 그 타이틀이 그들이 새로 작곡한 코러스에 적합하다는 것 을 알았다.

 

얼마간의 노력 끝에 Bjorn은 "굉장한 스포트라이트"라는 조금은 이례적인 주제의 가사를 작사했다.

Frida의 절제력있고 따뜻한 보컬을 특징으로 하는

이 곡은 1980년 11월 앨범의 첫 번째 싱글로 뽑혔고, 영국에서의 마지막 넘버원 곡이 되었다
