본명은 "Peter Lee Sterling"이고 영국 출신의 팝 가수다.

이 곡은 '72년 발표되어 국내에는 이듬해인 73년부터 라디오
전파를 타기시작하여 선풍적인 인기를 누렸던 노래이며
국내에선 가수 김추자씨가 즐거운 일요일이라는 제목으로
개사를 하여 그당시에도 라디오가 귀하던 외딴시골
동네아이들이 뛰어놀며 흥얼거리기까지
그시절은 대단한 인기곡이였다.

물론 음악다방에 주말쯤이면 단골 선정되었던 노래이기도
합니다. 다니엘 분(Daniel boone)
1964년 미국NBC 방송에서 만든 캔터키(Ken-Tuck-E)라는
인디언과의 전쟁을 그린 액션드라마부터 배우로써의
